Unveiling the Revamped!

Back to the Drawing Board

It’s been two years since I touched my personal site. The old version was... fine. It was a good learning experience, but looking back at the code gave me a headache. It was time for a rewrite that actually reflects how I code today.

The Stack

I toyed with the idea of using Vite, but I wanted this blog to actually be findable, so SEO was a priority. Next.js 14 was the obvious pick. The App Router is a beast, but it handles the heavy lifting for metadata and routing beautifully.

For styling, I’m sticking with Tailwind. It just works. It keeps the codebase clean and lets me iterate fast without context-switching between CSS files.

What’s New?

I’ve finally added a proper projects page. You can also see what I’m listening to via the Spotify Web API. And, of course, this blog. I plan to use this space to document things I learn, bugs I squash, and random tech thoughts.

Take a Look

Poke around and let me know what you think. It’s still a work in progress, but it’s a massive step up from v1.
